Let's protect the delicate forest ecosystems of Belihuloya together. Please follow these guidelines while exploring.
Avoid sudden loud noises. Animals and birds have highly sensitive hearing, and walking silently increases your chances of spotting them significantly.
Feeding primates (langurs, macaque) or birds disrupts their natural foraging habits, makes them dependent on humans, and can cause digestion health issues.
The moist environment near the ravine is a hotspot for leeches. Wear long trousers, pull your socks up, and apply leech repellent (available at the front desk).
Need a guided tour? Our local naturalists offer daily bird-watching walks at 6:30 AM and night trails at 8:00 PM. Call the reception to book your slot.
